Carers Information drop-in morning Friday 16th June, The Peak Centre - Liphook Carers Group (17th May 2017 - 14:49:08) On Friday 16th June, Liphook Carers Group will be holding an information drop-in coffee morning at the Peak Centre, Midhurst Road, Liphook between 10.00 am and 12 noon. The aim of the morning, at the end of National Carers Week, is to provide information, advice and support to people who may have a caring role. Carers are those who look after someone at home. You might live with the person for whom you care or feel responsible for the welfare of someone who relies on you. If this applies to you – then you are a carer. Organisations who will be represented at the event include: The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, Alzheimer's Society, Macmillan Cancer Support, The Rosemary Foundation and Citizens Advice. The event is kindly supported by Sainsbury's Liphook who will be providing the coffee and biscuits. The Liphook Carers Group aims to signpost carers towards support services that can help you in your role as well as offering a listening ear. If you feel you would benefit from this, then the Carers Group looks forward to seeing you at The Peak Centre on 16th June anytime between 10 am and 12 noon.
