Carnival Float Registration 2010 - Karen F (5th Oct 2010 - 14:23:35) Dear All Just to let you know that we have slightly modified (and hopefully improved) the way in which we register floats this year. You don't have to do anything differently, just roll up and park as normal on Longmoor Road and wait. Members of the Carnival Commitee will then be visiting you and taking your details on the appropriate judging sheet, giving you your category letter to display in your vehicle and your collecting tins. We hope this way we will not miss any entries that appear from The Square or that manage to sneak in without any of us noticing!!! Could we also ask that if your float is made up of more than 1 part, that you can try and arrive together or ensure that somebody knows that you are part of a set so we can leave space in the procession. Can't believe that we are now only three and a bit weeks away from Carnival night. I hope your float building is going well and let's hope that we are having all of the October rain now so that we have a fine Carnival night! See you soon!!
