First Steps Toddler Group - Please Help! - Natalie d\'Amato (4th Oct 2010 - 10:38:53) Hi all! I am the Chairman of First Steps Toddler group which has been running in Liphook for many years at the Peak Centre on Friday mornings. We provide a safe, fun environment for kids and their parents/carers, and I personally have made some wonderful friends there (as have my two sons). Unfortunately, my youngest son has now grown too old for the group (when did that happen?), and I (very reluctantly) am having to resign my post at the group. We also lost a couple of our key committee members this term as their children have started school. We desparately need some new people to help run the group - it doesn't take up too much time (a termly committee meeting and just a couple of hours a month). In particular, we need someone good with figures who can take over the role of Treasurer, and a Chairman (who can make decisions and come up with great ideas for the group). If there is anyone out there who has young children who would like to get involved in their community, please do get in touch!! Any help would be appreciated, and it would be such a shame to close the group after all these years! Thanks for listening.
