Looking urgently for a dressmaker - H (6th May 2017 - 21:38:01) I think I am hoping for the impossible, but you never know.... I am looking for a dressmaker who would be able to shorten the hem of an evening dress (lined) THIS WEEK, (i.e by Friday).. I expect professionals are likely to be booked up so would be happy to pay a competent amateur who would like to earn extra cash. She is a lovely lady and I'm grateful to her for taking the task on at such short notice. Talkback came up trumps yet again.

She is obviously very skilled and I was hugely impressed with the absolute perfection of her work, even though the material was not the easiest to work with. I have to say she should be charging far more for her skills than she does! I have kept a note of her phone number for the future and would highly recommend her to anyone that needs clothing altered. Great job, well done Dee, you are a Liphook treasure!
