Fireplace & chimney - Guy Stacpoole (2nd May 2017 - 21:02:06) We would very much like to install a fireplace and chimney in our detached property in Lindford. Any suggestions, recommendations, pitfalls, things of which we need to be aware. We really want to have a proper chimney rather than something that looks like the exhaust from the local restaurant.

Re: Fireplace & chimney - Sarah (5th May 2017 - 17:32:14) We have just had a log burner installed by Waverley Woodstoves, based in Haslemere. Highly rated their work, ethics and prices. I would however, not recommend the place in Liphook!

Re: Fireplace & chimney - Clare (6th May 2017 - 05:00:08) If you are going above the ridge line I think you need planning. Presumably the new fireplace and chimmney are going to be on an outside retaining wall . I'm sure your structural engineer will keep you both safe and legal.

Very professional from start to finish, very clean. I would highly recommend them. They have a showroom where you can see all the wood burners working.
