Liphook Family History
- Andrew Lucas (1st Oct 2010 - 21:07:56)

Hi. If anyone out there has been studying their family history lately and found they had a village relative named on the War Memorial in Bramshott then I would love to hear from you. Cheers.

Are you seeking information on the names or able to provide details? My late great aunt was engaged to one of the soldiers listed, so it is not exactly a family connection, but I would be interested to know more about him.

If you let me know his name I will see if I can help.

The name I am interested in is E. S. Evans.

From the 1901 census I found he was from Wales and worked at Frimstone (Longmoor Road) as a groom. That's all I know.

My Great Aunt never married after he was killed and always wore the engagement ring he had given her.

If you have any further details about E S Evans I would be interested to know about him. Thank you.
