Peak Centre - karen (27th Sep 2010 - 21:52:31) Please come and give your support to the Peak Centre on this coming Saturday as we are holding a coffee morning from 10am to 12 noon to raise funds. There will be coffee (of course ) and various stalls i.e cakes, crafts and tombola etc.Hope to see you there.

Re: Peak Centre - anne (2nd Oct 2010 - 16:51:16) Hope the Coffee morning was a success as I know that the Day Centre relies on fund raising to keep going. Is it correct that there are vacancies on a Wednesday. At £7 per day it is well worth it as I understand the Clients get a lovely freshly cooked meal,craft,outings and of course the time spent in the company of others plus some of those yummy cakes you mentioned to take home. We raised approx £460 yesterday at the coffee morning, a huge thank you to all who helped.Yes, we have vacancies on Wednesdays and Thursdays so if anyone knows of any elderly ladies or gents who would like to come and join us for coffee and lunch etc please give me or Caroline a call at the Day Centre on 01428 724941.
