Urgent attempted burglary London road 8.10am today

Please be aware that a man tried to break into our house on London road by the Rec this morning. The police are dealing with it.
If you see him please call 101 straight away.
He was 5ft 10, mid twenties, dark hair, full bushy beard, black tracksuit top plus hoodie, grey track suit bottoms.
We are all OK but he may try somewhere else....

He was on Headley Rd, the Avenue and the Private lane that runs parallel to The Avenue at around 8.20. Drove off in a dark coloured van. Reg starts with M851 but didn't get the rest.
