Radford Park bridge

The bridge in Radford park near London Road was demolished today.
To allay fears of the dog walking fraternity I've been to the Parish Council office today and been assured that the bridge WILL be replaced as soon as possible. Here's hoping we don't have to wait too long.

Is it not too far to walk to the London Rd end of Radford Park and down to the main entrance to circumnavigate this bridge?

At the last Parish Council meeting District Councillor Angela Glass confirmed that funds would be made available from Developer's Contributions to pay for the replacement of this bridge.
