Effective way to stop scam email

Recently I keep receiving scam emails from what claiming to be from Amazon & Apple. Just yesterday I received three scam emails. I have no idea how they have my details.
Is there any effective way to stop scam emails?

There is nothing that works long term as the scammers are always ahead of the technology to stop them.
Block one method, and they find more.
I use a hosted email service that stops a lot of it, but it is not perfect 100% of the time
