Nursery School - Nicola (22nd Aug 2010 - 08:30:35) Hello, We are looking to move to Liphook and have a 2yr old daughter. Unfortunately I have to go back to work full time soon - can anyone recommend a nursery that covers the 9-5 hours?! Many thanks!

Re: Nursery School - GEMMA (22nd Aug 2010 - 18:45:02) Hi there, the nurseries here in liphook only cover term time and up to 2/3pm latest so not much help. However there's 3 daycare nurseries in haslemere and one at the royal school which is enroute on the a3 to guildford. The nurseries in haslemere are Care and Daycare, Toad Hall and Timbers. Hope this helps!

Re: Nursery School - kara (23rd Aug 2010 - 15:42:58) hi, Welcome to liphook i have experiance of working in a day care and im now a childminder,i wouldnt recommend any day care where children are part of such big groups they have to fight for everything they want.Have you concidered using a childminder so your child can take part in the community and enjoy home life as well as learning all the childminders in liphook work hard.once you are with a child minder it makes it easier for when they go to school for after school pick up a lot of minders wont take on school age children but will continue to care if they have had them from pre-school age.Im happy to chat to you if you would like more information.01428 724156. Re: Nursery School - Sumi Olson (23rd Aug 2010 - 22:12:39) Hi Nicola, If you want a combination then my child-minder, Lesley Shephard drops her charges at Little Cherubs Nursery at 9 and collects them at 12 and then keeps them until their parents pick them up. My two children are with her and I can recommend her for her care and attention. I plan to send my children to Little Cherubs within the next year and am pleased that they will enjoy both kinds of childcare support.
