Plasterer - Helen M (12th Aug 2010 - 22:34:34) Hi My sitting room and kitchen have HORRID artex on them, great big swirly fans... nice. Whats the norm for getting rid of these - can we get them plastered over or does it all have to come off.... obviously i am more for the plaster over it (3 young kids in the house and a paranoid husband protecting his electronics (and the kids....))!!! Does anyone know of a plasterer that could plaster over them? many thanks! helen x

Re: Plasterer - sue crabtree (24th Jan 2012 - 11:49:05) i had dave clinkard round to give me a price for some plastering work his price was much more than some of the others i had round but he came across as he new what he was talking about . so i gave he the job wish i never now what a mess and at the end of the job the price was even higher how can he do this to people!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Plasterer - Chris (24th Jan 2012 - 21:41:25) Hi, PVA glue applied to the ceiling's first and sharp pointy bits srapped off with a trowel then Finish coat plaster is the norm. Try Mick Creber on 07880915514 he's local. He does all my plastering and he's a Trading Standards Approved tradesmen.
