- ginam (1st Aug 2010 - 13:00:36)
on saturdaty 31st July, early hours of the morning, our car, and our neighbours car, were broken into, and items stolen, among these items, were passports, and hand held consoles! in Church road Bramshott!
This incident follows a spate of bike thefts, from our back garden, over the past month, a pushbike(recovered), and also a moped, was stolen!
Please be extra Vigilant, in the Bramshott/Liphook Area!

I challenged someone acting suspiciously in the area- he was driving a white pick up truck -he may have been genuine, but hopefully if he was not, I put him off any nefarious deeds at the time- this was on thursday evening 29th July.

Hi thanks for that Barbara!
We have no idea, who is doing this!, 1 neighbour disturbed a man, down the dirt track lane, with her headlights, a few nights before this happened!, and then on the actual night heard 2 people running down the track at 3 am!
Unfortunately, Forensics haven't picked up any finger prints from the vehicles,.... but other stuff has been taken away for chemical something or others!!..hopefully something will come back with results!, although its looking doubtful!
But please anyone who lives in the area!, be extra vigilant, and DO NOT leave any valuables in your vehicles!
Thanks

May or may not be related but caught a young male distributing leaflets advertising "We buy gold, silver etc at the Haslemere Hall" taking a photo of our lounge window. When I challenged him he said he takes photos of unusual objects he sees to show his friends! Needless to say I gave him a piece of my mind and he said he had deleted the photo from his mobile. I have a good description plus the leaflet with his fingerprints on if anyone is interested.
Of course it may all be innocent but how many people go around taking photos of peoples houses - apart from Google earth and estate agents!

Hi,
Centre of Liphook a couple of weeks back. Did hear on radio today that someone in Bordon had a ring stolen after someone knocked on their door asking to buy gold, may or may not be related. Maybe a good idea to remind elderly neighbours, relatives etc not to buy/sell on the doorstep. Obviously lots of naughty people about at present.

On Saturday between 11.30am and 11.55am I had my car smashed up - back window broken and tyre slashed whilst I was walking dogs at Superior Road (above Waggoners Wells Road) in Grayshott.
Whoever it was stole my purse which was lying under The Saturday Telegraph and under the parcel shelf, very well concealed.
The Police have said that I was one of three similar attacks that day in and around Grayshott and Liphook - all people walking their dogs.
Needless to say these individuals used my cards immediately in Grayshott.
