Yes, me too. I tried for an absolute age last night to find a phone number to ring (from my mobile) to let BT know of the fault and eventually got through to an automated voice !!! which eventually told me that my number is not a BT number??? Still waiting for some help

Hi Irene, me again

It appears that because we get our telephone service via Pipex now, it appears to be them and not BT who need to fix the problem. Do you use a secondary provider in which case BT won't be able to help. If this is not the case it's strangely coincidental that we're experiencing the same problems.

Good luck!

There was works being done at the top of portsmouth road earlier this morning,

nearest the llyods bank,

I believe from the looks of it, there was a fair bit of gear, which means its proberly a serious problem.

Might be worth once fixed phoning them up and ask for a refund on all the calls and business we have all missed out on!! I lucky have a mobile phone but many dont

There have been a number of problems with a large cable which runs roughly between Lloyds bank and Fletchers Field via the Portsmouth road, feeding the Beaver industrial estate, some of Midhurst road, Shipley court, Field Place, Court Close and Fletchers. One of my colleagues put in for this cable to be replaced a number of weeks ago as it had caused us numerous problems over the past year or so. Hopefully this has now been done but will take a day or two to find out for sure.
We are also awaiting a cable to be replaced down the Tunbridge lane which has cause alot of problem in the Bramshott area.
