Bohunt Manor & Bonfires - Morons - Clive Blank (3rd Jul 2010 - 20:59:25) Is there anyone out there who can explain the moronic behaviour of the people or workers of Bohunt Manor who seem to think it is acceptabe to start a massive bonfire in the middle of Liphook on a Saturday afternoon? Especially in this heat. Why do these morons have to burn what they want and think it is acceptable? Smoke has covered Liphook this afternoon, especially the Portsmouth Road and into this evening and depending on the wind direction, you have to close windows and I'm sure those local to this area have enjoyed their bbq's or sun-bathing with the smoke wafting across. Does anyone at Bohunt Manor have a brain cell? Answers on a post card card or if they can see their way through the smoke maybe knock on the residents doors and apologise.

Re: Bohunt Manor & Bonfires - Morons - Karen F (4th Jul 2010 - 21:22:01) With you on that one Clive, Kevin went over to see if he could find anyone to put out the bonfire, which, as you know, was huge! Nobody about, so how unsafe was that??? Bloody inconsiderate in this heat, had to shut all our windows and doors and feel very sorry for anyone living on The Firs estate cos they must have got it even worse than we did!!

We don't have many nice days in this country and these bonfires are becoming a nuisance. I think I will contact EHDC enviromental services to report them now.

I hope that if anyone ever has an issue with anything that IML have done or are in the process of doing they will come and speak to me.
