LiDBA annual charity bike ride

Just to wish all who are taking part in tomorrows bike ride, "GOOD LUCK" and heres hoping for good weather.

There were 1267 riders on the main 25 mile ride and a further 203 junior riders on the field. Bringing this years total to 1470, not quite as high as last years record of 1506, but nearly 100 higher than 2008.
First rider back was Tom Ilett (104). He finished the course in 1 hour and 24 seconds and was riding for our general charities.
The first lady rider back was Melissa Petronikolos (166) finishing in 1 hour and 6 minutes. We believe she was riding for Rowans Hospice.

Congratulations to everyone who entered and took part in the day, including all the stall holders.
The weather could not have been better for the day, dry, slightly overcast and little wind.
Please remember to collect your sponsorship and pay it in as soon as you can.
