Hindhead tunnel complete closure overnight

Just received notice that there will be a FULL CLOSURE of the Hindhead Tunnel from from 9pm to 6am, between Monday 13 June to Friday 17 June.
Signed diversion routes will be in place via the A325 and A31 for both North and Southbound traffic, so please allow extra time.

That makes sense with the a325 in bordon shut for 18 weeks called joined up thinking .Oh dear congratulations to all concerned

Never known a tunnel being closed so often build quality must have been bad to have all this maintenance??
Another reason why old road should have been left in place for these times

Also note that the A325 is being closed north of Bordon for 18 weeks from the 6th June.
Luckily the extra diversion (overnight) will not be too long, via Lindford Road and then Broxhead Farm Road, right turn onto A325 being allowed again.

Has anyone watch the film Before I go to sleep with Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth and notice the car scene was filmed with them driving through the hindhead tunnel at night, makes you wonder if the local authority rent it out to location film companies. Must admit I've never known a tunnel to be closed so often at night.

Wasn't one of the points of this tunnel was that southbound could be closed and maintained but northbound kept open with a lane for each traffic flow, and vice versa?
That never seems to happen. Hopeless.
