Pub lunch
- Sarah (6th May 2016 20:01:55)
Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a nice 'country' pub for lunch (I'm thinking more ploughman's sat in pub garden if the weather stays nice). Not really thinking The Links or Deers Hut or anywhere with 'gastropub' style, but a good old fashioned place with a nice garden!
Hope that makes sense!!!!

The White Horse in Rogate meets your requirements. Parking behind the pub, traditional environment, real ales and good old pub grub at a good price. You can eat in or outside on the patio at the back.

Thanks all, we will certainly try them all... Yesterday we gave The Rising Sun a go in Milland and it was super (really accommodating of my silly food fussiness!!).

Hi, You could try the Three horseshoes at Elstead near Midhurst.
Old country inn, good food, lovely garden with stunning views of Southdowns.
