john,

i am under the belief its the parish council workers (Peter Terry and his crew) with a small bit of help from Liphook golf course greenkeepers. Having been up to look at the pitch and find out info for you i to think it looks great for this time of year. Full credit should go to above mentioned for their great work.
Why were you watching football up the rec? Are you local?

Michael

john,

Will pass on your praise, i believe they may be readers of these postings so they should see this, also they are the people seen around the village cutting grass and numerous other jobs contributing to keeping Liphook looking as nice as it does.

If anyone else sees them please say" thanks" .

I'm sure they would like your thanks. Like you two I also think it looks great and I believe there are only 3 of them to do all that work ? Steve

john,

went to the rec and passed on your 'thanks'. If you could have seen their faces like i did, that small word i passed on to these people obviously meant a lot to them. Im sure you made their day if not their week.

PS
the football season for the men has now finished and restarts second Saturday in August. I know they would be pleased for your support.
The youth section run a small sided competition for approx 800 children over the last weekend of May at Bohunt school if you need a football fix.
Also have a club funday at the rec for all (6 yrs-adults) on 11th July.

Have fun
