Lack of Travel Provision During Train Strikes

People may not be aware that South West Trains (SWT) are NOT PROVIDING a rail replacement service if the strike next week takes place. For those of us who do not drive this means a taxi to Haslemere, then a bus from Haslemere to Guildford for the once an hour train that will get us up to London. Or a taxi to Guildford. There is no rail replacement service on the line between Havant and Guildford.
National Express Coaches are no longer going through Liphook, you have to go to Hindhead or Rake to uses the coaches now, so that option has now been removed.
I am hopefully starting a new job in Guildford next week and will have to get a taxi to Haslemere and then the bus to Guildford. I have told SWT that I will send the receipts for the taxis to them for payment/money back as they have inconvenienced me. I would encourage others to do the same.
