There seems to be a problem with my definition of a Village Sign. It is not a board to advertise businesses. We want a design which reflects the variety of life in Liphook and all the different things that go on here. Sorry if there has been any confusion. Please ring me if you need any more information. What a great idea, that sign post has been empty ever since the Post Office moved out of the Sorting Office building.
Will be good to have something depicting all the great things that Liphook is known for (Carnival, LIDBA Bike Ride, Liphook in Bloom, local landmark buildings, countryside etc. etc.) Who knows it might even become the Liphook logo which all organisations in Liphook can use to to put forward a united face! ......... Parish Council included.

Just to remind all the wonderful talented artist young and old that live in the parish that all entries must be with me by APRIL 12th. for the village sign competition. This is a fantastic opportunity to put something back into our wonderful village. The winner will not only win a voucher from Old Thorns Manor Hotel but also have your work on display for many generations to come. Every time you walk or drive down the Portsmouth Road you will be able to look at it, after you have looked at the speedometer, and say I did that and give yourself a big pat on the back. Good luck to all our entrants.
