Fabulous local brewery
- Keith Thomas (18th Dec 2015 - 16:51:16)

I love my beer and I was at the Bel and Dragon in Churt the other day and to my amazement they were selling a beer called Frensham Forager and it was one of the best tasting beers (and I've had a few in my time) that I've ever drunk. They told me it was a local micro-brewery that produced it.

I've just ordered some online (www.frenshambrewery.co.uk) for New Years Eve after popping down and speaking to the really nice people who run it (Emily and Miles). If you want to get to their place it's the turning just after Frensham Garden Centre as you pass it on your right, then all the way down past the farm. They'll be happy to let you taste their 4 very different and delicious beers I'm sure.

It just goes to show that local produce is so much better than mass-produced, even though I don't mind a pint of Chiswick now and again.

If you're into beer, give Frensham a go.

Thanks Keith for sharing this.

I've just returned from the Frensham Brewery and I have to say The Forager is, as Keith described it, without doubt the best beer I've had.

I've ordered my Christmas beer and enjoying a pint as I type. Pay attention to the directions Keith gave, I didn't and had to phone and ask for directions!
