Sledges - in Stock update - Liphookhardware (2nd Feb 2010 - 19:58:16) Hi As requested in a previous thread, to keep the public updated on the availability of sledges - we had delivery of our pre-Christmas order today!!. Had shovels for a while - but these are not the specific snow ones (still not available from suppliers) - but are better than spades when shifting snow. Not sure if the predicted snow will reach us - but we do have shovels if needed! Still a shortage of salt - but good supply of Ice melt. Hope this helps with those who wanted to know.

Not sure what the cycle shop has, but I think they are a more expensive kind to begin with. We know a shop in another local town has the same as us - but their price is way higher. Difficult to know at what price they bought at - in the hight of the demand prices always go up. Market forces.

Re: Sledges - in Stock update - Trevor Beauchamp (8th Feb 2010 - 12:37:16) At Liphook cycles we have had a variety of sledges in stock ranging from £7.50 up to £84.99 i would like to point out that we work on standard mark up for most of our lines so the prices for our sledges will vary depending on our cost price. We have bought sledges from three diferent suppliers and the prices have varied greatly.I would also like to mention the fact that the sledes we have been selling over the last few days for £18.95 are sold online by our supplier for £22.95.
