Videos to DVD

Does anyone know of anyone locally who transfers Videos to DVD.
I know PRC do but the company they use to do the transfers is very expensive.
I don't want to send them away to an online advertised company as I would be very worried about losing them.
If any of you have an in house 'geek' who can do it i would happily pay them for their time

Hi Claire
We at PRC do sub-contract our DVD transfer to a company called AFX Audio Visual. We have used them for over 15 years and although not cheap (£15 for the 1st hour and £5 for additional hours) there are very reliable and their service is fantastic.
However some people do find this too much so would recommend that you ask around as more people than you think have old video players and DVD recorders that they would be able to transfer on.
