Brookham v Churchers
- Charley Sitch-Oliver (22nd Jan 2010 - 09:52:34)
Hi there!
We are hoping to move to the area very soon and are currently looking at schools for 2 of our children. We have appointments at Brookham and Churchers, however Churchers currently have a waiting list. Does anyone have children at these schools, if so what are your opinions?
Thanks
Charley

I don't have children at those schools, but can thoroughly recommend Liphook Infant, Liphook Junior and Bohunt Schools.

I can recommend the schools in Liphook, the infants through to the senior school, my children attend all three and did very well in all of them.

Hello
I'm not sure if you mean junior or senior level. My nieces both go to Churchers Senior School and love it. They're doing very well in sports and academically and the school seems to be very friendly with lots of added extras - away trips etc.
I don't know about Brookham I'm afraid so can't advise and I don't know about the junior schools either because both nieces went to their local state infant/junior schools.
Good luck and welcome to the area though.

Another school you may want to consider is Lord Wandsworth College near Odiham.
I enjoyed my time there in the 90's and believe it still has a very good reputation.

It sounds as though you're serching for a prep school.
Try St Edmund's or Amesbury; local prep schools with excellent reputations.
