Private Swimming Lessons
- neil (19th Jan 2010 - 11:28:40)

Does anyone know or offer private swimming lessons, I am looking for someone to help move on my daughters swimming. They have been at the Taro for about 3-4 years and can swim but I feel more of a one - one will work better.

So any recommendations please let me know

Thanks

Neil

I'd advocate going to Highfield School for swimming lessons, as all the kids that go through their classes seem to have a much better experience than using The Herons or Taro, even though the sessions are still in groups.

Many kids having been through other swimmimg classes, have come to Highfield and parents always say how much better their child is progressing than before.

Doesn't exactly answer your question, but may help.

I would agree with Steve, Highfield School swimming lessons are SO much better than others. They tend to offer smaller groups and my children came on leaps and bounds having been there for a couple of terms. I believe they also offer intensive school holiday sessions too.

The other place to try may be Old Thorns. Not sure if they still do but they did use to offer childrens swimming lessons either in a group or individually.
