Icicles!

Me and my family have been walking round the village this morning and have seen some huge icicles, particularly in our road (The Avenue). I thought it would be fun if everyone measured their longest icicle (has to be on YOUR house) and say how long it is - roughly - and have a competition!
The biggest icicle on our house is 60 inches (152cm).. an easier way of measuring if you can't reach it is to count how many bricks on your house are equal to it (we had 20), and then multiply it by the size of the brick (ours are 3 inches)!!

Be very carefull if you stand under a big icicle, they are heavy and pointed it is possible you could be injured or even stabbed by one, just be careful

They are also starting to pull some gutters away from roofs! So take care!
