Hummingbird hawkmoth

Saw one in my garden on the buddleia flowers despite the rain. Has anyone else seen them lately in Liphook ?

Lucky you, did you manage to get a photo?
We had an Elephant Hawk Moth in our bathroom a few weeks ago!

I saw one in my garden in Liphook a couple of months ago - the first time since the late 1970s! It darted about the flowers and was lovely to watch. I don't think they are as uncommon in the UK as they once were.
