PLEASE all those pedestrians using mobiles when you get to the edge of the road stop using your phone and look around !!!

and stop walking straight out into the road

luckily this morning i could see what was going to happen as i turned into malthouse meadows lady glued to phone walked straight out into the road - she looked up as i stopped and then back to the phone and carried on walking

This has happened to me twice this month in Liphook. both times the idiots turned to stare at me like I had done something wrong - giving me really dirty looks, when by doing an emergency stop I had saved their stupid lives!

Maybe a low-speed collision is what they need to bring them to their senses! It absolutely enrages me how unaware some people are!

One old fella during the recent tube strikes made me laugh.

There were thousands of people walking along the Embankment to get to Victoria Station. He said that in the past, the whole street would march along at the same pace and you'd get there quick.

Now it was taking hours, because everybody was engrossed in their mobiles, waving their arms about, slowing down, stopping or changing direction, he said it was like trying to walk through a crowded bar on a Saturday night!
