There are several charities who recycle mobile phones listed on the internet Oxfam,Cancer,Water Aid etc. all details are listed on each charity and how to obtain envelopes to return them if no shops in the local area.Just type in recycle mobile phones for Charity- hope this helps.

I am a member of Hampshire Search and Resue, a group fully funded by donations, and we recycle mobile phones. I will gladly take any phones if you have nowhere else in mind. Likewise any old inkjet cartridges.

Contact me at keithmt@me.com, I live in Liphook.

Sincere thanks Irene for the phones, they will go to good use as we exchange them for cash for Hampshire Search and Rescue (HantSAR).

If anyone else has any phones or ink cartridges cluttering up a drawer then don't hesitate to get in touch at keithmt@me.com.

FYI, HantSAR are the people called out to search for vulnerable people (elderly, impaired, children etc) when the police get a 999 call for assistance. Every member of HantSAR is a volunteer and receives no remuneration, not even for personal expenses. We are fully funded by donations to pay for all our equipment such as control vans, radio systems, stretchers etc.

Here is a neat video about what we have and do vimeo.com/90124684

Thanks again Irene, you,re a star.
