Pinewood Derby racer required

British honour is at stake! I have been challenged by an American gentleman to race a pinewood Derby car against his (see photo below). He clearly has too much time on his hands and absolutely no parental skills, however I feel I must accept his challenge.
I am looking to buy (or rent?) a souped up Pinewood racer which will be competitive at least. Before all the trolls talk about cheating yes I know it is but I have the engineering skills of a doughnut and would love to trounce the blighter at his own game. F1 bring in technical wizardry, why can't I.
