Computer/Router Help - Paula (7th Jul 2015 - 22:49:08) Can anyone recommend anyone to help me with my new and old laptops? Basically the new one is Windows 8 and will not connect to my wifi box and the old one seems to have a virus (although I have antivirus software and malware cleaner), this has also spread to my tablet! From crawling through the internet it would appear that the virus is actually on my wifi box and I need to access that through the internet but although very happy doing a lot of things, it is beyond my capabilities. Sorry, I should have said I am in Whitehill. Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

Initial checks are £19.99 for 10 mins. Our service on virus removal is £59.99. Have you tried a factory reset on your router? ( just insert a pin in the little hole at the back) You will need the set up details from your service provider or at least your user name and password. We can also do this for you if not confident. Just to check...you have done all the obvious stuff like restarting everything, and have changed the router password. While routers can get a virus, it is rare.
