Commuter parking in Canada Way - Tom (2nd Dec 2009 - 22:49:46) Well - the idea of parking in Canada Way seems to have really taken off. Just a few months ago it was just two or three cars, but now there's a daily line of parked cars from the roundabout with Midhurst Road right up to the top of the green. Given the price (and limitation) of parking at the station, I'm not surprised - and I suppose being so open it's (relatively?!) secure. It's not exactly sightly, and I'm sure there are plenty of people who'd argue it's not safe (kids playing, cars squeezing past each other, etc.). It was certainly entertaining watching the vehicles for the fair trying to manoever past them trying to get onto the green. Anyway - my point - I think it's now reached capacity, and if it does start going around the bends in the road it could start getting dangerous. Is it just going to keep growing?
