Meadow on the green!
- Caroline (26th Jun 2015 - 09:57:07)

Just to say how lovely the poppies and cornflower meadow areas of the green are. Thank you. Enjoyed.

Totally agree, they are lovely. Maybe we can we have more around Liphook ?

I agree, the wild flower beds are a joy. I think they look even more stunning surrounded by the short grass, makes them stand out.

If you stop paying your council tax, you will have loads :-)

There is also a wild flower bank in the car park at Radford Park. We have Liphook in Bloom to thank for all these areas, they planted them, as they do all the other Flower Beds in the public areas of Liphook.

It is lovely to hear so many of you enjoy the results of the work we put in around the village but we are struggling to keep it going At the moment the biggest struggle we have is to keep the hanging baskets alive. We always used to water them three times a week but as we are so short of people we have reduced it to twice a week which is Ok when we have a lot of rain but with this hot weather they will suffer. If any of you have a vehicle with a tow bar on and could give us 2 hours once a fortnight for just a couple of months we would be very grateful and so would the hanging baskets.
Please contact me if you can help in any way. 01428 723823
