Dixieland Jazz Band - Friday October 15 - Freddie Dawkins (4th Oct 2004 - 07:54:10) Dear All - The Heart of England Dixieland Jazz Band are swinging into Liphook as the next Pasrish Council-organised entertainment. The Band will appear at the Millennium Centre on Friday October 15. There’ll be dancing. The Band really swing and wherever they appear audiences just can’t stay in their seats. The Parish Council has been fortunate enough to secure the booking through the support of Hampshire County Council’s Hog the Limelight promotion. The evening will be cabaret-style, with tables arranged around the raised staging, a dance floor, and Centre caterer Angela Williams, will be serving Dixie-style traditional food (which is inclusive of the ticket price). There will be a full bar before the show throughout the evening. Tickets for the evening (doors open at 7pm and show starts at 7.45pm) cost £15 and are available from the Millennium Centre (01428 723889) and the Parish Office (01428 722988).
