Passfield Charity Beer Festival & Live Music
- Julian (17th Jun 2015 - 14:30:54)

The Passfield Club Charity Music and Beer Festival starts at 2:00pm this Saturday, 20th June.

The event will be opened by Mr John Gilbert, 94, a trustee of the club, and a member since he was aged fourteen some eighty years ago.

Everyone is welcome to come along and support this great event. Bring your friends and family too! There is a good selection of food available throughout the day and parking is available.

For children there will be face painting, a bouncy castle and Mr Giant children's entertainer at approximately 4:30pm.

There will be a great selection of crafted ales and live music from bands Stay Low, Elamental, Zig Zag and Key Lime PI.

The Passfield Club has supported Macmillan and the RNLI for many years and over time has managed to raise in excess of £20,000.

This year sponsorship has been provided by many local businesses under the "sponsor a barrel" scheme which will enable even more monies to be raised.

Passfield Club, Passfield Road, Passfield, Liphook, Hants, GU30 7RU.

Hi ACW,
I'm sure Passfield Club will be pleased to see your comments and that you enjoyed yourself.
You could always join up and become a member and use the club facilities all year round, perhaps join the darts or snooker teams, I hear they are always looking for fresh talent.
You may even want to become a member of the committee after a while and contribute to the running of the club which appears to be growing from strength to strength.
We look forward to seeing you at the club

Hi Curly the Building,
Im going to join the club, but not to sure about joining the committee I do like all the renovations makes the club look twice the size.
Did you by any chance help out with the renovations you being a builder and all..?

Hi ACW,
Glad to hear you are thinking of joining the club, you should find out from the Social Secretary what events are up and coming.
I was asked to help with the building, we were a bit busy at the time but the building committee seem to have everything organised, there is already a builder on the committee who does a bit of everything down there, you name it, he does it.
I think a couple of local chaps from Graysdown Builders helped as well. I hear there was a good turn out of volunteers.
