Gunns farm
- Iamp (7th Jun 2015 - 16:49:17)

We used to love living on this estate, but now it's horrible.
Noisy, selfish people have ruined it. They have no care about their neighbours. they are new here and the impact on our life has been immense. Urgh......

What side of the street is this in regarding?

Re: Gunns farm
- roo (7th Jun 2015 - 21:54:36)

Thats what happens when all these outsiders move into the village they spoil it for the locals

Re: Gunns farm
- iamp (7th Jun 2015 - 23:03:46)

Depends which way you are standing!

Re: Gunns farm
- Dave Lambert (8th Jun 2015 - 08:08:04)

My wife an I have lived on Gunns farm since 1966 and have very good neighbours.
I don't know who -Iamp is but perhaps you should put your real name then the rest of Gunns Farm will know who you are.
If you are not happy with anyone go and knock on there door and explain to them what you are unhappy about.

- Julie Culverhouse (8th Jun 2015 - 11:42:39)

Quite agree with my dad\\\'s comment (David Lambert). I have only lived here for 11 years and have had no problems, but if your still not happy, then go and knock their door and have a word.

- Eb (8th Jun 2015 - 12:41:18)

I have been very lucky with my neighbours, but I completely understand what it must be like if you have an anti social neighbour, I also understand why this person would want to remain anonymous especially with this site because you can't make a spelling mistake or maybe have a different opinion or you will get jumped on this is why I rarely comment!
Maybe they feel this neighbour is not approachable and to scared to say something directly because of fear of what might happen if they do, it's just a thought anyway.

Re: Gunns farm
- Julie (8th Jun 2015 - 12:59:16)

How are things going to get resolved if the person/persons are not approached/informed that they are being a nuisance or causing Iamp upset, Eb. Just a thought too.

Re: Gunns farm
- Julie Culverhouse (8th Jun 2015 - 13:01:24)

Or perhaps don't post things on this site and go direct to them. If they get abusive then call 101; another thought.

Re: Gunns farm
- Eb (8th Jun 2015 - 13:26:56)

Maybe a note through the door there's another thought, or maybe they don't want to put themselves in an abusive situation have you ever called 101 I have once or twice and they take forever not their fault though it's all the cutbacks. But anyway new thoughts could be added all day long maybe Iamp will get a few helpful suggestions through this thread!

- John Pykee (8th Jun 2015 - 17:17:47)

What sort of noise is occurring?

Re: Gunns farm
- Val (8th Jun 2015 - 20:43:07)

Roo,
Can you explain what you means by 'outsiders spoiling it for the locals'. That's plain awful. This village would be boring & stagnant if new people didn't move here. I really wouldn't like living near someone with that sort of attitude to newcomers. What do you mean by 'locals'? How long do you need to live around here to be accepted by yourself?
I really hope new people to Liphook dong read your awful comment. The more the merrier is what I say.

Re: Gunns farm
- roo (9th Jun 2015 - 04:17:15)

Val liphook not just gunns farm has been ruined over the past 30 years by outsiders moving from the cities and wanting all the city amenities in a little village. Liphook lost its village spirit aswell as its community

Re: Gunns farm
- Ian (9th Jun 2015 - 08:44:17)

Roo- it's attitudes such as yours that have caused so many places to lose their community and village spirit.

Re: Gunns farm
- dave Lambert (9th Jun 2015 - 19:48:41)

Lets get back to the question asked by Iamp.
We still don't know who Iamp is. Are they male or female and do they live in Gunns Farm if so where.
We still have no idea what the compliant is about. Is it noisy neighbours, loud music, cars reeving their engines.
Please let the residents of Gunns Farm know and then as a community perhaps we can resolve this matter.
A lot of chit chat is going to and fro and we are getting nowhere.
