Green Dragon goodbye ! - colin (7th Jun 2015 - 01:11:24) The present team as good as they might be are living on borrowed time and milking the success of the former boss Dave. Dave was the most successful operator of the pub in the past 5 years. Dave didn’t tell his customers to [expletives deleted] only 8 mins after the final bell. Presently we have a witch whom couldn’t care less about the lease holders wishes and thinks she the boss. The customer service from her even at 5pm is shocking, she does not want to be there and is more than happy to make every customer know she hates her job. I challenged her about asking me to leave 8 mins after the bell and her reply was “I couldn’t give a [deleted]. In reply I said she isn’t right to make a success of the business and her boss would be disappointed with her attitude. Her reply was she didn’t give one [deleted]. Here lays the end of the Green Dragon, previously it was either empty and you were treated with respect or in the case of Dave it was full and you were treated with respect. I arrived at the pub at 11:20, completely sober and had 2 pints whilst I was on site, the shit I had to listen to from the woman whom claims to be the manager was properly out of order. If only the boss and the guy whom put down the money for the lease knew. Am happy to call upon 6 other people to make comment, 2 I know and the other 4 I don’t, they will validate my views, the new lease owner seems fine, but he has employed a [deleted] whom has anger management issues This place will be flats in 2016 at his rate

How about you contact the lease holders and complain to them instead of doing the pathetic thing and moaning about it on here. Stop being a keyboard warrior. If you have something to complain about then do it! Also, you said you went into the pub at 11:20 and had 2 pints. You then stated that the customer service from her was bad at 5pm. So you are saying you were in there for over 5 hours and had 2 pints? Also why would she be ringing the bell at 5pm? I'm starting to doubt your story. Seems to me this could just be someone taking a dig at either the woman working there or you are trying to boost Dave's ego by mentioning him rather a lot in positive remarks. I would love to know if you do actually go down the proper route and make a complaint....

I have been into the pub twice since Dave has taken over, first was during the day for food, The food was awful and the second time in the evening and the lady behind the bar acted like she didn't want to be there and had better things to do, I'll not venture into the pub again. Is Dave still there? I thought he'd taken a little holiday ;-)

Trev and Dave were awesom landlords. Dave was even good on his own. The lights at the bar have gone back in, floral wallpaper on the walls and once agin the dragon is trying to be something it\\\'s not, call me a keyboard warrior all you like I don\\\'t give a monkeys. The only time the dragon has been good is when somebody local has run it. Haha. I\\\'m sounding very league of gentleman but it\\\'s true
