Fred, what is the problem with it, as ,memory serves, it is a TP Link that you have just bought...

Hi Richard,thanks for replying,it is a TP link router,model No TD-W9980,there is nothing wrong with it,i just need someone to connect it up to TalkTalk for me,can you possibly call me on 07767 614360 or leave a number and i will call you.Thanks Fred.

Give me a ring after 19:30 on 07768 314828.
Are you using Fibre or adsl?
Make sure you have your ISP login details to hand please.
Have you tried the getting started wizard?
