Bohunt school 3 storey plans - T (22nd May 2015 - 18:43:57) Bohunt school have a planning application in for 22 classrooms, cafe etc on 3 storeys for 500 extra 16-18 yr old students. They say they will only need 20 car spaces, but 17 & 18yr old students drive to school these days. Liphook will be gridlocked in the mornings and afternoons, where will they park? Object to their application on EHDC website by 4th June.

Re: Bohunt school 3 storey plans - tony (22nd May 2015 - 20:44:36) If this is the long awaited sixth form, then maybe it's a good thing. 500 students sounds a very optimistic figure unless their planning on bringing in students from other schools too and I agree, a lot of them will drive. I would hope somebody from the school would come on here to explain their plans in detail.

Re: Bohunt school 3 storey plans - CC (22nd May 2015 - 21:29:24) Just a thought but maybe those Liphook 6th formers who are potentially contributing to the current gridlock by having to drive / be driven to Alton, Midhurst or other towns for their 6th form education will now be able to cycle / walk to Bohunt.

Re: Bohunt school 3 storey plans - Rachel (22nd May 2015 - 22:57:56) Is this something to do with the large red metal frame that is going up? When I recently took a short cut through Victoria Way, I saw this huge structure and have been wandering what it is all about.
