Uncontrolled dogs on bridleways

To the dog owner wearing black t shirt and jeans, with the two whippets/wolfhound on Weaver's Down bridleways at 5.30pm yesterday. I had every right to be walking my horse on a bridleway and not expect your loose dog to suddenly appear under the common fence and chase us. It was only luck that my horse and I didn't go down on the steep, narrow path we were on and I do not appreciate being told that you would neither control your dogs or that a horse and walker should not be on a bridle path.
