UKIP

UKIP's Robert Blay suspended for threatening to shoot North East Hampshire Tory rival Ranil Jayawardena

For the UKIP supporters!

Still useful for a tactical vote.

Hi,

What happened to Peter Ballie for East Hampshire candidate?
Is he still standing as I received a flyer.

Good luck to the party.

No. It really is not.

If you want to go that way try Lib Dem or Green.

Re: UKIP
- A. Ryan (6th May 2015 - 13:37:23)

I have voted Lib dem all my life as a tactical voter, hated doing it but had no choice. I will never vote for them again as long as I live. You jump into bed with the wrong partner and as they say, marry in haste repent at leisure. Hopefully voting tactfully a different way will split the Tories here.

Paul

Yes Peter Baillie is standing for East Hampshire. He was out and about in Petersfield Town Centre this morning

Re: UKIP
- stacey (6th May 2015 - 14:53:36)

Robert Blay is not standing in our area, we are East Hampshire, he was representing NORTH EAST HAMPSHIRE Peter Baillie is still the candidate for UKIP in East Hampshire, which covers Liphook.I believe he lives in Headley.

Re: UKIP

Vote ukip

Re: UKIP
- Katie (6th May 2015 - 18:38:35)

I wouldn't vote UKIP under any circumstances.

My worst nightmare is a coalition between the Tories and UKIP.

I would have to leave the country!

Re: UKIP
- A. Ryan (6th May 2015 - 19:04:44)

Katie you maybe right about that, but the tactical vote might just work. They are all Tories anyway and I think the people will punish the Lib Dems for what they did by not voting for them, as they may well side with them again. At least you know what Ukip and the Tories stand for unlike the Lib Dems. We need to look at the bigger picture.

Re: UKIP
- S (6th May 2015 - 20:35:58)

Are you seriously suggesting that UKIP may win the East Hampshire seat?

Re: UKIP
- The Joy (6th May 2015 - 21:33:16)

Had a charming little man come round in a yellow tie telling me to vote LibDim or CONservative as that's what everyone else does around here and not to bother with anyone else as it's a waste of time. It's a waste or time speaking down to people with a snobby attitude as if you don't have your own brain. That's put me off them lot as a floating voter, well done posh rude man. Politics is in need of a real shake up.

Re: UKIP
- Katie (6th May 2015 - 23:16:54)

If you want to protest against the Tories & Lib Dems, vote Green.

UKIP won't get in here and at least you can register your disapproval of the Coalition whilst voting for a party that won't sell the South Downs (our back garden!!) to Fracking companies.

Re: UKIP

Katie
The last time the Green party stood in a general election in east hampshire they got 649 votes. Thats not much of a tatical voting option.

Re: UKIP
- Katie (7th May 2015 - 10:39:20)

I can't vote for Lib Dem or (not for love, money nor superpowers) UKIP because it would indicate that I agree with their policies, which I don't.

I guess I am voting for what I believe in. Looking back at past election results, this seems to be such a true blue area and I can't see that voting for the party that formed a coalition with the Tories last time and has acted as a lovely yellow doormat for them over the past four years will be tactical or in protest.

Re: UKIP
- A. Ryan (7th May 2015 - 10:46:16)

Exactly Katie, a true blue area, that is why splitting them is a good idea. Would love to vote Green , but as yet still in it's infancy so maybe a wasted vote. Trouble is with tactical voting it sometimes backfires like last time. We will have to wait and see.

UKIP founded in 1993

Green party of England and Wales founded in 1990 having evolved from Green Party founded in 1985.

Hardly in its infancy!!
