bohunt school
- philipc (6th May 2015 - 07:05:27)

Is it just me who is confused by the management structure at bohunt school? As a parent, I get emails from Stuart Vaughan, who is 'Head of School'. Or Philip Avery, who is 'Associate Head Teacher'. They used to come from Neil Strowger, who was the 'Head Teacher', but not any more. I am not aware that I have been told about a restructuring, or a change to how the school is run? It seems a bit odd that we used to get emails from Neil, and these have stopped? Maybe I missed the email about this. I could - of course - just phone and ask the School, but asking this question of the front desk would require me to 'man up', which is not my style. :) And someone on Liphook Talkback is bound to have the back story. And again, :)

I also find this confusing. I asked the question at parents evening and the teaching staff at the school were unsure of how things worked now. It sounds like communication inside the school is broken down as well as communication to parents.

Although I don't have school age children any more, I've read the comments about Bohunt and it sounds to me as if the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I worked there some years ago and found that the 'powers that be' only heard what they wanted to hear. There seemed to be a lack of communication. Also if your face didn't fit then you didn't stand a chance of being heard.

Hello completely get your confusion but what's happening is because it's now turned into an acadamy and I think they are taking over other schools also that Mr Vaughn is the head of bohunt but Mr strooger is basically in charged of the whole academy so bohunt and the other schools not just bohunt. If that makes sense
