Just wanted to let you know about some new and exciting events which will be taking place at The Millennium Centre in the next few months.
We are very pleased to announce that we have a new weekly children\'s activity starting on Monday 22nd June. \'Story Tree\' will be here with story telling, puppets and singing for the under 5\'s. The cost is just £3 per child (sibling discounts) and the session will start at 9.15 am and will last for an hour. Free refreshments will be available. No booking required, just turn up on the day.
We also have a new weekly session of Mature Movers on a Wednesday morning from 9.30 am until 10.30 am. Cost is £4.50. No booking required.
On Friday 26th June we are holding our first clothes \'Sale Rail\' event. Come along if you have clothes you would like to sell or find yourself a bargain! We will also have a Therapy Room and small bar open on the night. For more details or to book a space please contact the Millennium Centre on 01428 723889 or go to our Facebook page. Doors open at 7.30 pm but the hall will be open earlier for setting up.
We are showing The Theory Of Everything at the next Cinema Night which is Friday June 5th. Tickets are selling well and are now available from The Parish Office which is open every day from 10 am - 1 pm.
We do have lots more events currently being planned so watch this space or why not pop in and pick up further details from us!

This is great to see the hall being used for a variety of different events. This kind of initiative is long overdue and I really hope the events are successful and well supported.

Keven, don't be a wally! There are plenty of other recent threads to have a moan about staffing issues at the hall. There really is no need for you to hijack this one

We were looking at having our wedding reception early next year, because Mr Gavin was a man I trusted to make our special day work, the millennium centre has lost that welcome/ warm feeling now Mr Gavin has left!!!!

You do seem to hear a lot Keven - or have friends who 'hear' and then tell you. Can I ask - do you work at the Millenium Hall?

I agree with Frances and Ian, all these postings about the current staff of the Hall is trolling. If your "friend" has an issue with the ending of his temporary employment, let him take it up with the proper channels. "Keven" "rob" and "steve" it is about time you let go this personal grudge. I am sure that the " harrasment on social media" should be looked at on here too.
The users of the Hall seriously do not care who runs the Hall unless there is an issue, such as chairs and tables or other facilities not being put out when promised. They seriously do not care!

I cannot think of an open space big enough in Liphook with parking spaces etc, , I think a small indoor one for small items once per month could be good but there would probably be an admission charge?

I am pleased you have an income Keven, I did not suggest you were currently working at the MH, I am surprised you have time to gossip in the "he said " " I have been told " vein. I imagine being a property Baron in LIphook keeps you, the taxman and accountants very busy!
