Missing Black Cat
- Anne Le Butt (4th Nov 2009 - 16:26:40)

Our beloved black cat vanished on 20th October 2009 from Huron Drive, Liphook.

He is 3 years old, large, but not fat, short haired and has big bright yellow eyes. He has a tiny white patch at the base of his throat. He has no collar as he is micro chipped. Highly likely that he has been accidentally locked in a shed, garage or is just being fed by someone who wrongly thinks he is a stray.

If anyone has seen him, knows where he is please contact me on 07595 723956 or my Vet's practice 8.30 - 5.30pm 01428 651300.

There is a reward for his safe return.

Thank you

Hi

Sorry to hear about your cat - will keep an eye out for him as we live nearby (Canada Way). Think I have seen him previously so will keep a look out. When one of our cats went missing we put posters up and posted notes around our neighbours. He turned up 3 days later as he had been trapped in a neighbours shed. He had wandered in through their cat flap but couldn't work out how to get out! So fingers crossed your cat will return too.

Regards

Katy

Hi Anne

I sympathise with your lost as I too lost a cat last year and it doesn't get any easier with time. Scarily your cat is the spitting image of my other cat who is the brother of my missing cat, Tosca. I'm still hopeful of getting him back one day so I'd like to know how I too can put a picture of him on this website. Can you let me know what I need to do.

Thank you and good luck - I truly hope you find him very soon.

Anne

Hi Anne

Just email me a picture of your cat, and then make a post on Liphook.co.uk - I'll add the picture for you.

Thank you for your support. Pablo has turned up. He must have got very lost for a month. Found on the roof of a Vet's car at the Liphook Equine Practice. A great advert for Micro-chipping!

Such is the power of the Liphook Herald who featured the loss of Pablo on their front page.

Would that it could work the same magic on the Parish Council!

Anne how wonderful to hear that your cat has been found. I've got two cats and I can't imagine how I would feel if either of them went missing for a whole month. Why do well loved cats do this to us !!

BTW I wasn't aware the Parish Council had gone missing....hope they're also micro chipped....
