Thank you! - Jenny Alexander (30th Sep 2004 - 14:48:12) Hi, Just wanted to say thanks to the people who have made liphook.co.uk! I moved to Liphook with my mum and dad over 15 years ago and have since moved away but i now work at Chiltlee Manor. Because of this site i have spent many a lunch break giggling at the amount of sarcasm that is displayed here! If we had had this site when i was younger it could have made us 'young-uns' so much more interested in the goings on in Liphook. Well maybe at least a bit more interested! Thanks again Jenny P.S - and i would like to state RIGHT now that i was never one of the annoying ones who hung around circle K!!!

Delightful to hear you are well and nothing in your little world has changed... although I hear you have a new addition to the Ireland family. Give my regards to Joey... hope she is well. No Alex - not brown nosing just being a little tiny tiny tiny bit polite... but you wouldn't get that anyway would you! Hope all is ok in Alex land and I am sure I’ll hear from you soon. I have to admit though... congratulations the 'she’s got fatter' comment hurt as much as you intended it to. So well done... hope you feel really really good now. As for my life well let me see now.... Yes it is true I did eat a lot and got fat but now I am losing the weight by going to the gym. I am engaged to be married and live in a beautiful house with my partner and a friend... also have a great job where I am earning good money and have a fantastic boss. So Alex ... I might be fat but what do you have?

Sorry if it was 'shooting the messenger' ... just after all those years of 'duelling' with you i am almost on the defensive straight away...... can't think why? What ever could have made me react like that... ??!! So thats about it... 36 stone and a peg leg after an unfortunate accident involving a well, an elephant and a butter knife. Seriously though.... really hope all is well with you and Joey. Are the rumors of an addition true? If so congrats to her... if not it would appear the Liphook jungle drums are still working as well as they did a few years back. Weird how nothing changes. So the moral to this episode is... Forgive and forget? Water under the bridge and all that jazz? (dum de dum de dum... neighbours... everybody needs good neighbours....)

Am now only wishing that I'd gone to Bohunt and could share in the trip down memory lane! As it is I can proudly announce that I remember when CoOp was Wavy Line. Don't suppose that earns me much cred :(

I remember wavy line and i also remember the old Candy Box that was down by Liphook Junior School. What happened to penny sweet shops?
