Beware - peter shepherd (2nd Nov 2009 - 19:47:29) Went to a golf shop today in Guildford, on entering the shop a very large snarling and barking rotweiller was there to greet me. He only came short of giving me a kiss as there was a stair gate at the bottom of the stairs. whilst I was being dealt by the shop keeper, he did not let up snarling and barking.So to my amazement the shop keeper got a flower spayer (that was not kept for the plants) and squirted it to passify him. It worked for 30 seconds but then the dog became agitated again, still snarling and barking, I turned to the chap and said "is this normal?" to which he replied "He's a bit snappy as he hasn't had a walk yet!!!" As I exited the shop "tyson" bid his farewell in his usual manner. Seriously if any of you want to take young children in this shop "DONT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the stairgate that separates the dog from the public is a childs type,and the dog is sixteen stone, one day he is going to knock it over and if there are screaming kids running about, it doesn't bare thinking about!!!
