loose horse on road

I was driving to Bordon from Liphook this afternoon and encountered a horse running on the road at Conford heading towards Liphook.It looked like one of the horses that pulls a trap I've, often seen in Liphook.Does anyone know if it was caught and is ok?

When I passed at that time they had got it down the side lane and were enticing it with a bucket of food (the best way to catch a horse). Looked like ti was going to end well.
