Part time employment for 16 year old - Glynis (13th Apr 2015 - 14:27:36) Seems to be a bit of a minefield of rules for working at this age BUT my grandson of 16 is looking for part-time work within Liphook (obviously within the guidelines). Personable young man with good communication skills and willing to work hard. Any offers/ideas?? Thanks

Re: Part time employment for 16 year old - JJ (16th Apr 2015 - 10:33:05) Having brought up 2 boys in the area, I know how difficult it is, especially as 16 year olds don't have transport - other than a bike or the train, and a train takes away the usually small sums they can earn. I suggest he considers being his own boss, getting a bucket and sponge and knock on doors for regular car washing duties/gardening/lawn mowing, that kind of thing.
