are there any gyms in Liphook or swimming pools that you can use on a pay per go session?

Bohunt Community Sports Centre - has a fitness studio / gym as well as 2 squash courts, floodlit playing court, full size floodlit astro-turf pitch, grass pitches for football, indoor sports hall, 2 tennis courts and a basketball court.

I don't know how they charge these out, but worth calling to see. From what I remember the gym was very basic - but still, if it's on your doorstep you may as well make use of it I suppose.

Mill Chase Community Sports Centre also have a small and very basic gym. Also a pool which is well heated - but can be scruffy and a bit dirty at times.

The nearest one with both a well equiped gym and a pool with saunas, steam room and jaccuzi is Petersfield. The Taro Centre.

Hi
I have used Mill Chase centre, and I must say their facilities are good, and I have never encountered a problem with cleanliness or in poor appeal!!

There is another Gym - in Passfield - Kings Gym, where you can pay as you go for sessions. It may not be as plush as some, but the equipment does the necessary. Like most Gyms they work out a routine that suits your fitness and what you want to achieve. Can be a bit daunting if you go as a lone woman, but trust me in front of beefy blokes it does make you work a bit harder!!
Worth taking a look though and make up your own mind. If you need a partner to work out with - I could do with going again!!

Regards

Sue

Hi,
I would recommend Mill Chase. In just over a year I have lost four stone and I'm still going. Staff always helpful, approachable and friendly. I originally went after having a foot operation to get more mobile again and the support I got was good.

Herons at Haslemere has good gym and it only takes 10 - 15 mins to cycle there from Liphook also has a pool which is not great . Lots of people use the Edge but i never have so cannot comment. Old Thorns has a small pool and nice gym with the added bonus that you can book treatments. I used to be a member there but gave it up when i found it was becoming grubby and stale at certain times of the day, to be fair that was almost two years ago now so it is sure to have improved.
